A couple of weeks ago, I made a video asking people to tell me what was something positive they learned about se|xuality from church or their parents and almost all the responses I received were "NOTHING".
As a sx educator, one of common things I encounter are adult women (many who have been having entercourse for many, many years) who have endured the motions of s e x without the pleasure of it, haven't learned they have a choice and a voice in their pleasure so they go with the flow, and then feel shame around multiple aspects of seggs:
*shame for not knowing how to do all the things...
*shame for desire or lack thereof...
*shame for wanting more and not feeling safe enough to ask for it or even know HOW to...
*and on and on...
This event is designed to help give you some tools to access shame-free sensuality & sexuality; let's face it-we are raising girls to grow up to be women/wives who are ill-equipped to handle the seggsual expectations of marriage or relationships-and then blaming them for the roaming pe nises of the world or the downfall of the relationship as a result.
